Fred Wilson had a post yesterday on Smart Thermostats discussing their penetration and how in the past two years, they have gone from 6.5% to 11.5% – which is pretty impressive.
I woke up this morning to a notification on my Nest making me aware that we can opt-in so my local utility can work with Nest and my data to better optimize energy use in the house and save energy.
